Ritu Johorey joins the Econometric Society as its full-time Director of Events

I am pleased to announce that Ritu Johorey has joined the Econometric Society as its full-time Director of Events. She will now be working from the Society’s headquarters at Yale University. Most of you know Ritu Johorey and the good work she has done for the Society over the past several years. Ritu originally began working with the Society in 2020, providing part-time technical assistance on the 2020 World Congress. She was then hired as the Society’s full-time Technical Meeting Planner via outside contract.

Prior to her work for the Society, Ritu was employed by HCL Technologies Inc. in Gurgaon, India as a Project Lead; in Houston, Texas as a Project Manager; and in White Plains, New York as a Program Manager. Ritu also held technical positions in India at Nucleus (Delhi) and Datamatics (Mumbai).

Ritu holds a Bachelor of Sciences (Honors) in Math from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, India.
