2025 Australasian Economic Theory Week
On 6–7 February, the UNSW School of Economics hosted the 2025 Australasian Economic Theory Workshop (AETW), bringing together 80 participants from nine countries. Highlights included keynote talks by Professors Nageeb Ali and David Rahman, a mini-course on linear programming in economics delivered by David Rahman, 45 contributed presentations, and a new poster session featuring 10 posters. A highlight of the workshop was the Best PhD Poster Prize, awarded to the most outstanding poster presented by a PhD student. This year, the prize was shared between Yunjie Shi and DJ Thornton. Congratulations to Yunjie and DJ!
We look forward to the 2026 AETW, which will be held in Auckland, New Zealand.
