John F. Nash, Jr.
John F. Nash, Jr. was killed in a car accident on May 24, 2015. A Fellow of the Society, he shared the 1994 Nobel Prize with John Harsanyi and Reinhard Selten for their pioneering analysis of game theory. He also shared the 2015 Abel Prize with Louis Nirenberg for his contributions in the field of partial differential equations.
