New Econometrica Editor and Co-Editors announced

I would like to inform everyone about some further upcoming changes and our editorial board.

As many of you know, I will be stepping down at the end of June, and Joel Sobel will be the next Editor of Econometrica. Lars Hansen will also be stepping down as Co-Editor at the end of June.

I am delighted to announce that Gianluca Violante and Fabrizio Zilibotti have agreed to join our board of editors. Gianluca and Fabrizio need no introduction, as their professional reputations speak loudly enough. Gianluca and Fabrizio will bring fresh energy, insight and wisdom to our board of editors, and I am looking forward to seeing them take on this very important and challenging job.

With Joel as Editor, and  Gianluca and Fabrizio joining  Dirk, Liran, Tzachi and Elie as Co-Editors, Econometrica is in great hands and under an inspiring leadership. I hope you will join me in welcoming them to Econometrica.
